In 2017, TransforME Ayiti wanted to expand its programming while cultivating community engagement and presented the ignaural Miss TransforME Ayiti Pageant, where a young lady would compete for a $500 scholarship, a waived fee of our launch your non-profit online course and all expense paid trip to Haiti, where she would participate in our organization 3rd annual back to school drive. The journey to this momentous night was a very interesting and rewarding one as 5 women would go through workshops and practices that would lead to the crowning of our 1st Miss TransforME Ayiti 2018. With the mission to celebrate young Haitian-American while promoting culture, entrepreneurship and community service, each women would present their best in 3 categories: Business /Platform pitch, talent with Haitian culture and evening gown with final question. With a standing room of patrons, dignitaries, community leaders, family and friends, only one woman would walk away with the crown and title. On May 5, 2018, Noesha M. Noel, a Dillard High School senior heading the University of Florida would be our Miss TransforME Ayiti 2018. Words can’t describe the gratitude to all the people who took a leap of faith with joining us to make this signature event a reality.
